Big updates include: Patrick Chung (He practice Friday despite a thumb injury where he was originally thought to be OUT for Week 3. He’s now questionable.), Jonathon Vilma is OUT, Elvis Dumervil is OUT, Quincy Black is OUT which makes Mason Foster a full-time player Week 3.
Defensive Linemen
Eagle DL Juqua Parker (ankle) left in the 4th quarter of Week Two and didn’t return. He was re-evaluated on Monday, according to multiple sources.
Lion DT Nick Fairley (foot) has yet to resume practicing, but HC Jim Schwartz said the rookie will “play a lot of football for us this year, let’s just put it that way.”
Packer DE Ryan Pickett (foot) suffered a sprain in Week Two, but expects to play in Week Three, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.
Raven DT Terrence Cody (head) suffered a concussion Sunday against the Titans, according to the Carroll County Times.
Steeler DE Brett Keisel (knee) has a PCL sprain and is questionable to play in Week Three, according to HC Mike Tomlin.
Viking DT Kevin Williams (foot), who has missed two games because of a suspension, said he will play in Week Three despite dealing with plantar fasciitis, according to 1500 ESPN.
Linebackers
Buccaneer SLB Quincy Black (ankle) was injured in Week Two and pulled from the game when his play suffered, according to the St. Petersburg Times.
Dolphin LB Karlos Dansby (groin) was injured in Week Two and HC Tony Sparano admitted he’s “concerned” about it at Monday’s press conference.
Panther LB Thomas Davis (knee) tore his ACL for the third time in three years and is out for the season, the team announced.
Ram LB Ben Leber (groin) left Monday night’s game with a non-contact injury and didn’t return, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Defensive Backs
Bear S Major Wright (head) has a “stiff neck” not a concussion, but his status for Week Three is uncertain, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Bronco CB Champ Bailey (hamstring) wasn’t close to play in Week Two, according to the Denver Post.
Cowboy CB Terence Newman (groin) said he’ll play in Week Three after missing the first two games, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Dolphin CB Vontae Davis (hamstring) injured his hamstring Sunday against the Texans, according to the Miami Herald.
Packer CB Tramon Williams (shoulder) missed Week Two, but is “hopeful” he’ll be able to play in Week Three, noting he’d rather miss one or two games as opposed to eight or nine games.
Packer S Nick Collins (neck) had to be taken off the field on a stretcher Sunday against the Panthers. According to ESPN, Collins has normal feeling and movement in his extremities but was to stay in the hospital overnight for observations. On Monday, the Packers announced that Collins will be out for the rest of the season.
Patriot CB Kyle Arrington (head) suffered a concussion in Week Two, according to the Boston Globe.
Patriot SS Patrick Chung (hand) injured his hand but returned to Sunday’s game against the Chargers with a cast, according to NESN.
Patriot CB Ras-I Dowling (thigh) was injured Sunday against the Chargers, according to the Boston Herald.
Redskin SS LaRon Landry (Achilles, hamstring) has missed the first two weeks, but said he’ll play in Week Three, according to theWashington Post.
Redskin CB Josh Wilson (back) was injured Sunday against the Cardinals, but HC Mike Shanahan said Wilson should be fine.
Texan CB Johnathan Joseph (ankle) was walking gingerly with a large wrap on his injured ankle after the game, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Viking CB Chris Cook (groin) looks like his status is in doubt to play in Week Three, but the injury isn’t considered long-term, according to theSt. Paul Pioneer Press.
